Be Part of Colt's Neck Equestrian History
Restoring a storied horse property
The process of restoring one of Colts Neck's oldest remaining horse properties was no small feat for Happy Tails founder, Lauren Sgroi.
Situated across from Due Process Golf Club, Monmouth County residents have likely shared in watching the century-old equestrian property’s transformation over the last two years.
Dating back to 1910, this 45-acre property was once home to some of the County's finest racehorses. Today, while the original farm house has been restored, the equine facilities have had a serious 21st Century upgrade.
Some new amenities include: 30 stall barn, indoor riding arena with open bleacher area, enclosed climate controlled viewing room, tack up stalls, wash stalls with heat lamps, oversized outdoor arena with a footing blend by The Footing Factory, and trails around the property.
